December 8, 2010

The Pencil Maker, just before putting  a Pencil into the box, reveals  a secret to a Pencil for becoming a best Pencil.

He reminded 5 things and asked never to forget those if wants to be a best Pencil:

1. You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone’s hands.

2. You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you’ll need it to become a better pencil.

3. You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

4. The most important part of you will always be what’s inside.

5. On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.

If Pencil understand and remember these 5 things, Pencil will be always live with a purpose in a heart.

If we try to find analogous of these 5 things for a human being, they will be something like follows:

1. You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God’s hand. Shed your ego and  allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess.

2. You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life, but this will make you a smarter and more stronger person.

3. You will make many mistakes, but if you understand those you will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

4. The most important part of you will always be what’s on the inside. Be good with heart and love everything around you.

5. On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties. Always engage yourself in service of others, and you will enjoy the happiness in giving.

Allow this parable on the pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.

Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a change.
